Has anyone heard of this act? It's been passed by the HoR so far. http://www.govtrack.us/congress/billtext.xpd?bill=h110-1955 Does this seem off to anyone else? Excpessially these bits: "VIOLENT RADICALIZATION- The term `violent radicalization' means the process of adopting or promoting an extremist belief system for the purpose of facilitating ideologically based violence to advance political, religious, or social change. HOMEGROWN TERRORISM- The term `homegrown terrorism' means the use, planned use, or threatened use, of force or violence by a group or individual born, raised, or based and operating primarily within the United States or any possession of the United States to intimidate or coerce the United States government, the civilian population of the United States, or any segment thereof, in furtherance of political or social objectives. IDEOLOGICALLY BASED VIOLENCE- The term `ideologically-based violence' means the use, planned use, or threatened use of force or violence by a group or individual to promote the group or individual's political, religious, or social beliefs." And this part:
"The Internet has aided in facilitating violent radicalization, ideologically based violence, and the homegrown terrorism process in the United States by providing access to broad and constant streams of terrorist-related propaganda to United States citizens." So what does this mean? Bye-bye "unsafe" Internet in America? If that's true, hello Canada! "Have you seen our First Amendmant? We seem to have misplaced it." It's like a nation-wide strikethrough, and that's just plain not good.

Okay, okay. Let me say one thing:
YAY~.
I got both of my essays done. It may be the day their due, but technically not until 3:00 PM. :D
So now all that's left is that journal that I've *cough* been writing in since July 26th. I know, I'm a terrible person, but the two weeks that I didn't actually have affects my grade too much for that to not be needed. ( It's graded by the number of weeks you've worked on it. ) I was already was at a B, two less weeks would have given me a D, which I really can't take as a starting grade for Honor's English, expesially since if I get good grades for the first semester, my Grandma's taking me to New York. And that I'm really trying to focus on good grades this year anyways. Last year I got about 65/35 percent A's/F's. The A's were the things I did, and the F's were the things I didn't. Whoops. But this year I'm really getting my academic life together. I'm actually going to do homework when I get home from school! =]
And that last post was me actually planning ahead for the second part of the learning project, which is actually due on the first day of school. I'm doing somewhat of a "music video" for my two songs. That's right, folks, a video of me playing Row, Row, Row Your Boat *AND* "Feelin' Alright" by Dave Mason. Actually, that second song is sort of fun. I like the way it sounds, at least.
Anyway. I have a journal to go fake. ( D: )
